www.aarp.org AARP Pennsylvania is a prominent advocacy group for older Americans. The organization has about 40 million members in the nation and 1.9 million in Pennsylvania.

www.aidforfriends.org (Aid for Friends in Philadelphia) Aid for Friends serves the needy, isolated shut-ins, primarily the frail elderly, in the five-county Greater Philadelphia area, with free daily home-cooked meals delivered weekly by volunteer visitors. The organization also provides shut-ins with free out reach services.

www.nncc.us (National Nursing Centers Consortium) The National Nursing Centers Consortium  represents nurse-managed health centers serving vulnerable people across the country. The Consortium helps its provide quality health care services to vulnerable populations and to eliminate health disparities in underserved communities.

www.retiredamericans.org The Pennsylvania Alliance for Retired Americans ensures social and economic justice and full civil rights for all citizens so that they may enjoy lives of dignity, personal and family fulfillment and security.

www.jspan.org Jewish Social Policy Action Network conducts research and informs the public on issues ranging from equality and opportunity for women and men. The organization also protects the Constitutional liberties of Jews, other minorities, and the underserved.
